So I aquired this motherboard recently ..but a manufacturer I've never heard of ..and had difficulty even identifying it ..It appears to be made by DIGIMATE ..and the IDENT DM-12390-1at first look it appears to be quite 'useful' though drivers may be hard to find ..I dont even know it's relative age ..thus not really sure what OS was it's intended target. It has 2 x ISA slots One of which is shared ..either/OR PCIso 5 pci and 1 ISA or 4 PCI and 2 ISAIt also has an AGP 2x slot3 x PC133 ram slots ..2x Serial and 1 Parallel ports 2 onboard USBPS2 mouse and KeyboardChipset ..I can list the chip numbers ..but from what bit I read is VIA Apollo.VIA VT82C596BVIA VT82C993AITEIT8671F-AIT8687R
Drivers can be found on PhilsComputerLab's website: -chipset-drivers.html (first driver at the top). I've never heard of that brand before either, it looks like it supports Windows 98SE up to Windows XP, and I believe that board supports up to a 933MHz Pentium III at 1.75V and 256KB L2 cache. If you want to use an ISA card that uses -5VDC, I suggest an ATX to ATX with the -5VDC for better support. I also have a board that's close to that as well (Shuttle AV18V31), but with an AMR slot (audio modem riser).
Yep, this is standard Via 4-in-1 territory. If for some reason Phil's version gives you problems, there are several more on Vogonsdrivers.com you could try, or indeed just download them from Via themselves - they still have old Win98 and XP drivers.
There is a lot more to a sound card that can affect audio quality than just these three, but as the core components, they certainly set the baseline for a sound card's capabilities. There are about 107 different ICs mentioned, including drivers and datasheets where I have managed to find them. In some cases, I have also included the original press release.
There are several flavours of YMF719, including YMF719-S, YMF719B-S and YMF719E-S. Windows 2000 and XP support this chipset out of the box, so no external drivers are needed. They are known for their low noise and excellent compatibility. Their MPU-401 interface does not suffer from the "hanging note" bug present in other OPL3 chips. For best quality the internal amp should be disabled via a jumper and all settings in the mixer set to 0 and setting the output type to hi-fi.
This chip provides good sound in Windows, but the DOS drivers only allow for Sound Blaster Pro compatibility (8-bit stereo) and it has a lower sound quality than a real Sound Blaster Pro or the Pro Audio Spectrum.
Windows Drivers: Sertek S521 Win31/9x, Other Win3.1 driver for 1688 and 1688F, Windows 95b (OSR2) DOS Full Install - includes SETUP that works in pure DOS, as well as SETVOL and ESSCFG. works across all ESS chipsets.
The IDE interface can be configured to run at I/O address 168h or 1E8h, and use IRQ 10, 11 or 12. It does require a separate device driver (see below in the DOS drivers ZIP file) to be added to CONFIG.SYS called ES1868.COM to enable the interface.
Tigor iCNG comes with uncompromised safety with leak proof design, Micro switch which alerts driver in case of fuel lid open, Thermal incident protection, Direct start in iCNG , auto switchover between fuels in case of low fuel or leak detection. Also, the NGV1 Receptacle nozzle helps in faster and safer iCNG refuelling.
